Day 8: Let it go

Day 8: Let it go

Day 8: Let it go

Today is the last day of the #LiveYourVision training + insta challenge!

Today, I ask you to let it all go.

When we have a Vision we want to manifest, at the end of the day, it is best to release all attachments to it. When I finish meditating each morning, I say, "Namastasye Namo Namaha."

This means, "I offer it up. I let it go into the hands of the divine."

For a moment, I want you to visualize that Vision you are calling into your life, and feel the gratitude, power and excitement of what it would be like to have it.

Then I want you to imagine taking that dream in your hands, and placing it into the hands of the divine, and letting it go.

Letting go is the final step in manifestation.

This element is so key, because often when we let go, we are brought something that is even more aligned with what we need in our life.

When we let go of our attachments, we open to receive exactly what it is we need.

When you offer it up, and surrender, to a greater power higher than yourself, the universe will swoop in to bring you a miracle. It may come right away, or it may take some time to see, but trust, it is coming.

On instagram, post a picture of what letting go looks like to you.

Be sure to tag me @meredithrom and use the hashtag #LiveYourVision.

This is our last day, so it's time to cheer on our sisters and celebrate all we've done!!

Tomorrow, look out for my email, as I will be announcing the winner of the instagram challenge, and have a special invitation for you.

Day 7: Say Yes

Day 7: Say Yes

Day 7: Say Yes (to what scares you)

When you open yourself up to new possibilities, let go of limiting beliefs, and start taking action towards your dreams, doors are going to open and opportunities are going to come your way.

Today's #LiveYourVision challenge is about saying, "YES" to those opportunities.

Now, sometimes this does mean saying, "no," to what will take you away from your dreams and desires, and that's okay.

It's up to you to decide how you want to feel, and then when those opportunities come, ask, "Is this taking me closer to my vision? Is this taking me closer to how I want to feel?"

What I really want you to take away from today is knowing that sometimes our biggest dreams scare us, and it can be easy to fall into a trap of a door opening, and then saying no to it because we think we aren't ready.

There are really two kinds of fear - the kind of fear that is not based in total truth that something bad will happen like, "I'm afraid of the dark."

Then there is the kind of fear that makes us feel like we will give or receive more energy than we're used to, or bring us closer to the divine. This kind of fear is the good kind. This is the kind I want you to walk closer to.

Imagine standing on the edge of this cliff, stepping into the unknown, welcoming a total embrace of excitement, joy and liberation.

Today, I want you to ask, "What scares me, but also makes me feel excited, and more ALIVE?" Say yes to that!

Deep down, you know you're ready.

On instagram, post an image of what you are "Saying Yes" to. Be sure to tag me @meredithrom and use the hashtag #LiveYourVision.

On Tuesday morning, I will announce one lucky person who's been posting on instagram to win a free spot in my upcoming course, Vision!

With love,
Meredith

Day 6: Create Sisterhood (VIDEO)

Day 6: Create Sisterhood

It's Day 6 of the #LiveYourVision  training and instagram challenge! Today is all about SISTERHOOD.

Sisterhood has been essential  for me to face my fears, take courageous action towards my dreams and live my visions.

I remember singing in public on my own for the first time when I was in a supportive circle of women.  I was so nervous, but afterwards, I was encouraged and felt amazing.  Now I sing with confidence in my yoga classes, and even went on a yoga and music tour with my partner last spring.

How has sisterhood had an affect on your life?   Have you ever felt scared about a dream or vision but then gathered confidence through connecting with other women?  What was that like for you?

Today, I invite you to deepen your connections through sisterhood.   Reach out to a friend, share your vision and ask her about hers.  See what magic unfolds.

My video for you today is all about releasing what I have found to be the biggest barrier to sisterhood - jealousy and comparison.

Jealousy is a very natural emotion to experience, however, if we get caught up in comparing ourselves to others, it can block us from believing in ourselves, taking action towards our visions and authentically supporting others.

In this video, I share the affirmation I use, as well as a writing exercise and guided meditation to release jealousy and deepen your connections of sisterhood.

You can watch that video here:

How will you create sisterhood today?  I'd love to see on instagram!  Be sure to include a shout out to me  @meredithrom  and use the hashtag #LiveYourVision!

Love,
Meredith

Day 5: Express Gratitude (VIDEO)

Day 5: Express Gratitude (VIDEO)

Day 5:  Express Gratitude

When imagining all that could be possible for our lives, it can get easy to get lost in "What I don't have yet." and "What's not working right now."

It's okay to be aware of that to motivate us to change our reality, but an essential key in manifesting our dreams is being grateful for what we have.

We are often told to be grateful, but it is so easy to slip back into old thought patterns when we forget.

How often do you really feel gratitude in your body?

When you sink into the feeling of gratitude, you raise your vibration.  You halt negative thought patterns.  You attract more good in your life.

When I started spending just a couple minutes feeling gratitude at the end of my meditation practice, I began to see a shift -  I had more daily experiences that naturally made me feel - grateful.

But it takes conscious action to get there - so today I created another guided meditation for you, all about gratitude.  Watch it here:

Note:   I want you to know it's okay to not feel grateful all the time.  Sometimes difficult emotions come up.  The best thing to do is to feel them fully, in order to release.  When we have a practice of feeling our emotions fully, it's much easier to mindfully feel gratitude from a true and authentic place.

On instagram - post an image about what you're feeling grateful for.  Be sure to tag me @meredithrom  in the description so I see and use the hashtag #LiveYourVision  for a chance to win a free spot in my upcoming course, Vision!

Love,
Meredith

Day 4: Forgive (VIDEO)

Day 4: Forgive (VIDEO)

Day 4: Forgive

I believe forgiveness is one of the most important actions we can take on the path to living our visions.

In the video below, I share how I was able to cultivate the power to forgive in a situation where in the past I would have held on to resentment and anger.

WHEN WE HOLD ON TO RESENTMENT AND ANGER, WE ARE ONLY HURTING OURSELVES.

By holding on to that negative energy, we lower our vibration and block the path of miracles in our lives.

When we forgive, we clear up our energy field and flow back into attracting the good.

Today I want you to ask, "Is there anyone I need to forgive?"

When you forgive, big or small you open up to manifesting miracles again.

Try using this affirmation:

I release all grievances to allow miracles in my life.

Then watch this video:

I'd love to hear about your story of forgiveness over on instagram.  Post a photo and tell us about a time you forgave someone, or what you are forgiving now.  Be sure to tag me @meredithrom so I see and use the hashtag #LiveYourVISION to share with your sisters.  Can't wait to see…

Day 3: Meditate (VIDEO)

Day 3: Meditate (VIDEO)

Day 3:  Meditate

Today's action in the #LiveYourVISION training and instagram challenge is to MEDITATE.

Why is meditation so great?

I meditate to quiet my mind, access intuition and guidance, be less reactive, more compassionate and loving, and also stay focused on the Vision I wish to hold for myself and the world.

I created a guided meditation for you today, and it is all about finding love within.

When we look for love within ourselves and connect to source energy, we become less dependent on relationships and the outside environment.  When we find that connection, we are able to make decisions from a grounded place, knowing our internal guidance.

Watch the guided meditation video below:

For a chance to win a free spot in my upcoming course,  Vision,  remember to post on instagram and tell us about your meditation practice!  Be sure to tag me @meredithrom and use the hashtag #LiveYourVISION!

Day 2: Journal

Day 2: Journal

Day 2:  Journal

Time to get CLEAR on those Visions!

Sometimes the hardest part about manifesting is figuring out what you want!  In a world of infinite possibilities, where do we start?  This is where I turn to my journal.

When we make the space to clear out distractions and spend some time writing, we are able to see what arises from a still and quiet place.

But first, we have to create that space for it!  When you find time in your day to slow down and be still, ask yourself:

  • What is awakening in me now?
  • What do I vision for my life in 20 years?  5 years?  1 year?  What kind of reality do I want to create?
  • What do I want to be in service to?
  • What kind of world do I want to live in?

Then for fun, try writing it out in the present tense.

Here's an example from my Vision:

I am joining women from around the world ready to find love within.  I am helping them free themselves of fear so they can manifest the life of their dreams.  I am leading transformative retreats in beautiful locations to help women connect to each other and to their heart.  My thoughts and actions inspire self-love, courage and devotion in the lives I touch.

Now it's your turn!  What is it you want to create in your life?  In the world?  What do you want to be devoted to?

Take some time to journal and then share with me on instagram @meredithrom for a chance to win a free spot in the upcoming course, Vision.  Use the hashtag #LiveYourVision and cheer on your sisters!

With love,
Meredith

Day 1: Build an Altar

Day 1: Build an Altar

Welcome to the #LiveYourVision Free Training and Instagram Challenge!

I've been so excited for this day!  Meditation has been a huge part of my life and I'm looking forward to start sharing the most powerful tools that have helped me shift my beliefs and manifest my desires.

Each day for 8 days you will receive a daily action, video, insight or story to guide you on your path to #LiveYourVision.

My intention is that these 8 days provide tools for you to connect to an innate love within yourself and a relationship to your inner guide that will benefit you throughout your entire life.

Day 1:  Build an Altar

Today I ask you to build an altar.

If you already have an altar, how can you make it fresh and new?  If you've never built one before, here's some guidance:  An altar is simply a sacred reminder of what you value and who you are becoming.

You can place images, words or sacred objects that remind you of your devotion and help you to remember your highest self. You can use crystals, tarot cards, deities, or images with special meaning to you as a place to start.  Be creative!

I used an image of Ganesha, the remover of obstacles for today's post.  Ganesha reminds me to trust in my path and my intuition.  Even if my next step feels big or scary, I can trust that Ganesha will be there to help me remove whatever is in the way.  I can also trust he will place obstacles when I need to remember to re-align on my path.

So what lights you up? What would make you smile everyday when you sit down for a few moments of silence? What holds special meaning to you?   Add it to your altar!

When you're done, post a picture on instagram and be sure to include the hashtag #LiveYourVision and tag me @meredithrom to see!

After 8 days, one lucky person in the instagram challenge will win a free spot in my online course, Vision: 8 weeks including coaching calls, training videos and a 40 day practice to shift your beliefs and manifest your desires.

I can't wait to see your altars!  Stay tuned for tomorrow...

With love,
Meredith
